The YBLG volunteer team of Sharon, Kristi, Julie, Jackie, Trish, Ramona, and Ann met at the garden to continue weeding beds. Each bed was amended with sweet lime and fertilizer to prepare soil for vegetable starts. The OPRD rangers attempted to turn on the water, but were unsuccessful. They will continue troubleshooting.

Rangers and Master Gardeners discussed issues with water management, especially with water pressure causing "blow outs" in the drip lines. We agreed to investigate a water pressure shut off value. Ranger Luke offered to assist us find an appropriate item. We will also be replacing all of the drip feeder lines this year with emitters.
